1. Scope, language and fair interpretation
These terms apply to tuition arranged through ChemistryTutor.vn. The written offer identifies the exact service and any course-specific term. Consumer contracts and general trading conditions are provided in Vietnamese; an English version may also be supplied. If the versions differ, the interpretation more favourable to the consumer applies as provided by Vietnamese law. No term limits a right that cannot lawfully be limited.
2. A place request is not a booking
Sending the website form asks ChemistryTutor.vn to check suitability, schedule and availability. It does not hold a group seat or individual timetable slot, create a chargeable lesson or conclude a contract, and no payment is taken on the website.
3. Information supplied before a remote contract
Before payment, the family receives a clear written offer containing the operator’s name, business address, telephone, email and tax identifier; the service description and expected standard; delivery mode, start and end dates, timetable and location where relevant; total price in VND including any tax, deposit, fee or foreseeable cost; payment method and deadline; offer-expiry date; cancellation, rescheduling, transfer and refund rules; account or material access period; complaint process; and the rights and duties of each party. The family can ask questions, expressly accept the offer and retain a copy of the accepted agreement.
4. Confirmation, timetable and in-person arrangements
- A place is confirmed only after the written offer has been accepted and the required payment reaches the verified payment identity.
- No deposit is requested before the family accepts the timetable. If a published cohort is still being finalised, availability is collected first.
- Selecting Huế, Da Nang or Hội An records a preference and does not guarantee a venue or require travel to another listed city. The offer states the agreed venue area, timetable and any material travel arrangement. Exact access details may be shared only with enrolled families for privacy and safeguarding.
5. Price, payment records and payment safety
The accepted offer states the full tuition price, what it covers, the deposit and instalment dates, any applicable tax or fee and the verified recipient identity. ChemistryTutor.vn provides the invoice, receipt or other transaction record required by law. It never asks for a password, card PIN, one-time verification code or remote access to a device. A changed payment instruction should be verified through info@chemistrytutor.vn or the previously known Zalo contact before funds are sent.
6. Cohort confirmation and service changes
If ChemistryTutor.vn cannot confirm a cohort by the date in the offer, a deposit paid for that cohort is returned in full. ChemistryTutor.vn cannot unilaterally change a material accepted term. If a material timetable, delivery-mode, price or venue-area change is proposed, the family may accept it or decline and receive a refund for the affected undelivered service. Minor operational changes that do not reduce the agreed service are communicated promptly.
7. Withdrawal, transfer and refunds
The offer states the family-withdrawal, transfer and refund calculation before payment, including the treatment of a deposit and any delivered service. This does not remove a statutory remedy. If the service is not delivered as agreed, the family may seek correction, replacement, credit, termination, refund for the undelivered part or compensation where Vietnamese law provides. If mandatory information for a remote transaction was inaccurate or incomplete, the consumer retains the rights provided by Article 38 of the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights, including the applicable 30-day termination right and payment only for service already used.
8. Missed lessons, late entry and individual changes
A missed group lesson is not automatically replaced one-to-one. After reasonable notice of absence, the student receives the relevant materials and focused catch-up task plus either a lesson recording where the format and participant permissions allow or a tutor-recorded recap. Late entry may require a diagnostic and paid or included catch-up work as stated before confirmation. The notice window and consequences for cancelling or rescheduling individual tuition appear in the written offer; a consultation request alone is never chargeable.
9. Cancellation by ChemistryTutor.vn and force majeure
If ChemistryTutor.vn cancels a lesson, the family is offered a reasonable replacement, credit or refund for that undelivered lesson. If ChemistryTutor.vn ends a confirmed programme, tuition paid for the undelivered part is refunded. For an event beyond reasonable control, both parties are notified promptly and try to reschedule or use a suitable alternative; if the affected service cannot be delivered within a reasonable time, the undelivered part is refunded. Mandatory liability is not excluded.
10. Programmes lasting at least three months
Where a service is continuous for three months or longer, the family receives a written contract and a copy to keep. It states the service period, full recurring or instalment costs and any renewal arrangement. Unless the parties lawfully agree otherwise, the consumer may end a continuous service at any time and pays only for the part used. Any request for a further payment or notice that the contract will end is sent through the agreed channel at least seven working days before expiry.
11. Materials, accounts, student work and academic integrity
ChemistryTutor.vn grants the enrolled student a personal, non-transferable right to use supplied learning materials for study during the access period stated in the offer. Accounts and private recordings must not be shared. The student keeps ownership of original student work. Publication of that work or a testimonial requires separate permission and, for a minor, age-appropriate consent. Tuition supports learning and feedback; the tutor does not impersonate a student, complete assessed work for submission or guarantee a grade or admission outcome.
12. Respectful participation and safeguarding
Students, families and the tutor are expected to communicate respectfully, protect participant privacy and follow reasonable safety and venue instructions. Serious harassment, unsafe conduct, fraud, account sharing or academic misconduct may lead to proportionate access restrictions or termination after notice where practicable. Any payment for undelivered service is handled under the accepted offer and mandatory law; this clause does not impose an automatic forfeiture.
13. Complaints and dispute resolution
Send a question, request or complaint to info@chemistrytutor.vn with the family name, course and a concise description. Receipt is acknowledged within three working days, and ChemistryTutor.vn begins direct, good-faith negotiation within seven working days after receiving the request. Requests involving a child or another vulnerable consumer are prioritised and may be made by the legal representative. If no agreement is reached, the consumer may seek assistance from the competent consumer-protection authority or organisation, mediation, arbitration where validly agreed, or a Vietnamese court. Vietnamese law governs without restricting mandatory consumer rights.
